Chicago, IL (August 6, 2024) – An early morning crash on I-90 caused a handful of victim injuries and massive delays for commuters on Tuesday, August 6.
According to officers with the Chicago Police Department, a two-vehicle crash involving a semi happened just before 5:00 a.m. on the inbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway near Montrose. The crash also affected traffic into the Kennedy junction from the Edens Expressway. Authorities shut down the two right lanes as they cleared up the crash and EMTs responded.

Joliet, IL (August 5, 2024) – A person died in a Lincoln Highway crash near Joliet and New Lenox on Monday, according to troopers with the Illinois State Police.

Officials said that the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. on Illinois Route 30 near Cherry Hill Road. Officers added that the crash involved a silver Ford sedan and a brown GMC truck, and the area was shut down for several hours as emergency personnel responded and as the State Police investigated.
