Fioretti Address Distinguished Delegation of Attorneys, Judges on Legal Ethics

This May, Attorney Bob Fioretti, of Disparti Law joined a group of distinguished attorneys and judges as they traveled to Italy for an intensive educational program. Among the Chicago delegation were John Sciaccotta, current CBA President as well as 19 judges, including: Illinois Supreme Court Justice Joy Cunningham, Chicago Bar Association’s Incoming President, Judge Nichole Patton, Judge Maryam Ahmad, Judge Kristal Rivers, Judge ShawnTe Raines-Welch, and Judge Thomas More Donnelly.

In addition to participating in several legal conversations and legal education seminars, the delegation visited historic sites across Sicily, Italy including Palermo, Taormina, Monreale, and Mount Etna on guided tours.

As part of the education seminars, Fioretti addressed the delegation on issues of ethical conduct and rules as well as how to apply them for a more ethical and principled system of justice. Disparti Law is proud to have one of our attorneys leading the conversation on ethical justice.
Michele Calantropo, head of Palermo Bar Association, spoke of the experience with a dinner toast, “in every court, in every station, we share the law’s true aspiration. Let justice be our true foundation.”
