Chicago, IL (November 17, 2024) – According to local authorities in the Sycamore area, a 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed Friday night in a vehicle crash at the intersection of DeKalb Avenue and Woodgate Drive.

On Saturday, Sycamore Police Department officers said Nicholas Cummings, 26, was taken by paramedics to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The motor vehicle driver, whose identity is unknown, was issued a citation for failure to yield. No further information about the crash was immediately available.
