Huntley, IL (September 9, 2024) – A man was taken to Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford following a Sunday morning crash on Interstate 90 near Huntley.
Illinois State Police said the crash happened at about 10:45 a.m. Sunday at mile marker 46, which is just west of the Route 47 interchange in Huntley. The incident involved at least two drivers, west on Interstate 90, and a hatchback was shown rolled over at the site by local news footage.
One driver was rushed to a Level 1 trauma center with serious injuries, Batallion Chief Brian Harders of the Huntley Fire Protection District confirmed. The crash is under investigation, according to the ISP. No additional information was provided by police in the meantime; however, citations may be pending, and the local police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
