Troy, IL (January 6, 2025) – All lanes were reportedly open again after a multi-vehicle crash shut down part of I-70 eastbound in Cumberland County on Sunday afternoon, January 5, according to local authorities.
State Police confirmed that, as of around 3:10 a.m., all of the lanes reopened, and all of the vehicles that could be removed Sunday night have been towed. EMTs also reported to the site of the incident, but ISP has not yet provided additional information about the conditions of those injured or further details about the incident. However, an investigation is still ongoing in the interim.
