Oswego, IL (January 3, 2025) – Multiple car crashes and one hospitalization were reported on Thursday, January 2, in Oswego, according to police.
One crash resulted in a 22-year-old California woman being hospitalized with injuries. The two-car collision occurred around 7:35 p.m. near Route 34 and Odgen Falls Boulevard, according to police. A Mazda, driven by a 60-year-old Aurora man, was headed east on Route 34 when it rear-ended a Mercedes despite attempting to avoid a collision, officials confirmed in Friday’s blotter. Detectives are still investigating, however, and no further details were released.
