Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice is pleased to announce Justin Borawski’s elevation to Member, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Borawski, associated with the firm’s Belleville, Illinois office, focuses his practice on defending corporations in products liability, premises liability and employment practices liability, with particular experience in toxic tort and asbestos defense. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, national restaurant chains, industrial equipment manufacturers and family-owned businesses.
With nearly two decades of experience, Borawski has secured more than 35 defense jury verdicts as a first-chair trial attorney. His litigation strategies have led to successful pretrial resolutions for hundreds of cases. His courtroom experience and deep understanding of complex litigation make him a valuable asset to the firm and its clients.
Borawski is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is also an active member of DRI and Illinois Defense Counsel.
