Chicago, IL (January 8, 2025) – Multiple vehicles were damaged, and unknown injuries occurred following a crash early on Monday morning, January 6, on the Eisenhower Expressway. Illinois State Police said the crash happened just before 5:00 a.m. on westbound I-290 near Austin Boulevard.
Troopers and fire crews responded to the scene, where they found four vehicles involved in the crash. That said, it’s unknown how many people were hurt in the incident. Investigation into the crash remains ongoing. No additional information was available as officials investigated, though citations may be pending.
