Fulton County, IL (December 2, 2024) – Troopers with the Illinois State Police said that a two-vehicle crash took place on Monday in Fulton County and trapped a 20-year-old driver in a vehicle.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Illinois Route 9 and North Marshall Road, where the Teddy Bear Junction sits. Cass-Putman Rescue, Cuba Fire, Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Fulton County EMA all responded after a 20-year-old driver was trapped inside a car that was T-boned, according to a Cass-Putman Rescue Facebook post.
LifeFlight was ultimately unable to respond due to weather, but the victim was eventually taken to a hospital in unknown condition. That said, no further details were released. An investigation is still ongoing, and law enforcement officials are handling it in the interim.
