Chicago, IL (December 29, 2024) – A 32-year-old woman was killed after being ejected from a car during a crash early Sunday morning in the Back of the Yards area.

The crash happened just before 4:00 a.m. in the 500 block of West Garfield Boulevard. Fire crews took the woman to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she died. Her identity was not released. Meanwhile, the Major Accidents unit is investigating, and it’s unclear if anybody else was hurt. Witnesses were asked to come forward right away.
