Chicago, IL (December 20, 2024) – Chicago police are searching for a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Marquette Park.
Police said the crash happened just before 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the 6700 block of South Western Avenue. A 54-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a gray or silver-colored four-door sedan. The vehicle then drove off, and the woman died from her injuries, according to investigators. No further details have been released about the suspect as of Friday; however, officers continue to investigate at this time.
