Chicago, IL (December 27, 2024) – According to an update from officials on Friday, a pedestrian was killed, and another individual sustained injuries in a collision on the Kennedy Expressway on Wednesday.
ISP said the collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-90 near Canfield Avenue in the Oriole Park neighborhood of the city at approximately 5:45 p.m.
The deceased victim was one of the two individuals originally transported to the hospital with injuries; troopers confirmed that the victim died on Friday, though their identity has not been disclosed.
