People who are convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) may be required to install a Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device (BAIID) in their vehicle. A BAIID is a breathalyzer connected to the ignition that prevents the car from starting if the driver’s blood-alcohol content (BAC) is over a certain limit.
