Countryside, IL (October 23, 2024) – South suburban police are investigating a bad crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle on Monday evening, October 21.

News footage was released showing the scene near West 58th Street and LaGrange Road just after 5:00 p.m. According to a release from the Illinois State Police (ISP), investigators said LaGrange Road was closed in both directions between 55th Street and Joliet Road. It reopened just before 8:30 p.m.

What led up to the crash was not immediately clear, and it’s unclear how many were hurt other than the motorcyclist. Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the crash. That said, officers continued to investigate and asked any witnesses to step forward right away.
