On September 27, Baker Sterchi attorney Michelle Meloche will co-present “Cognitive Psychology in the Courtroom: Making Facts Matter Again” at the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF) Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. The presentation will explore various techniques for identifying bias and offer solutions to improve jury decision-making.

Meloche has a practice focused on representing healthcare providers, often defending against medical malpractice claims. In addition to her role as co-vice chair of PLDF’s Healthcare Malpractice Claims Committee, she is actively engaged in several other healthcare and legal organizations, including the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section, the American Health Lawyers Association, and DRI’s Medical Liability and Health Care Law Committee. Meloche earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law and holds an M.P.H. in Health Management & Policy from Saint Louis University. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
