Chicago, IL (September 13, 2024) – According to a news release from officers with the Chicago Police Department, six were taken to a local hospital early Friday morning after an accident on the Southwest Side.
The vehicles were driving north in the 1900 block of South Western Avenue just after 2:15 a.m. when one hit the other in Little Village, police said. Per the CPD, four officers were in one vehicle, and two individuals were in the other.
Meanwhile, four victims are listed in good condition, and two are listed in fair condition at an area hospital. It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, however. Witnesses were asked to contact the CPD if they had additional information in the interim.
