Howard Talks with A Chicagoan Who Is Living His Major League Dream

A passion that developed on the diamond of another sport in the suburbs has now helped him reach the pinnacle of baseball in Chicago.

“Naperville Nicky” Lopez is in his first season with the White Sox and his sixth in Major League Baseball. It’s also the first year which the fielder, who primarily plays second base, is a spokesperson for Ankin Law.

Growing up around softball, where his father Bob is a Hall of Famer in the sport, Nicky was a standout in baseball at Naperville Central High School, Creighton University, then debuted with the Royals in 2019.

In 2023, after a brief stint with the Braves, he signed with the White Sox, and filmed his first Ankin Law commercial with family at Mount Greenwood Park in May.
