Bloomington, IL (June 11, 2024) – On June 11, a crash involving a motorcycle and pick-up truck left one man dead in Bloomington, per local authorities.
According to a Bloomington police news release, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Center Street and Bissell Street near Miller Park before 8:00 a.m. that day. The motorcycle driver, a 28-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead from sustaining critical injuries. An autopsy is pending in addition to the officers’ investigation. The Bloomington Police Department, the McLean County Accident Reconstruction Team, and the McLean County Coroner’s Office are still investigating the crash.
