Chicago, IL (April 1, 2024) – Chicago police said that a 56-year-old man lost his life in a hit-and-run accident on the Southwest Side on Sunday night.
Around 11:45 p.m., witnesses in the 6300 block of South Pulaski Road reported to the police that a red Toyota Camry was speeding northward as the victim was crossing the roadway. Per officers, the car hit the victim and continued to drive. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. In the meantime, the Chicago Police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating the crash and asking anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
