Chicago, IL (March 27, 2024) – A head-on collision involving a garbage truck and passenger vehicle on the Kennedy Expressway ramp resulted in at least one person’s injuries, per local officers.
On Tuesday morning at 5:50 a.m., a collision occurred on the northbound Interstate 90 exit ramp leading to Armitage Avenue. A head-on wreck involving the garbage truck and a sedan was reported to Illinois State Police a short time later. One of the victims was subsequently taken in serious condition to a nearby hospital. As of right now, no new information has been made available, but an investigation proceeds.
