MoabThe body of James Bernard Hendricks of Austin, Texas, was discovered in Utah’s Arches National Park north of Moab, Utah. It is believed he suffered a heat stroke while scattering his father’s ashes.

Hendricks was reported missing after he was overdue for a check-in. Park Rangers found his body with an empty water bottle close to the trail. It is believed that the heat, high altitude, and dehydration contributed to his death.
