To our valued clients and friends:

At Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice we recognize COVID-19 is increasingly disrupting the working and personal lives of our clients, colleagues and personnel. We want to assure you we are dedicated to ensuring uninterrupted service to our clients and to protecting the health of our colleagues and personnel during this unusual time.

While all of our offices remain open and fully operational at this time, our business continuity plan allows for remote working capabilities and we are fully prepared to implement a remote working policy should the need arise. We are able to meet with clients, experts and others integral to moving a case forward, via Zoom or by conference call. Many of the Courts before which we appear have limited their operations.

Our firm regularly monitors information released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and local health authorities.  Based upon the recommendation of health experts we are observing international and domestic travel restrictions, restrictions regarding in-person meetings, social distancing guidelines and self-quarantine rules.

Additionally, we have communicated information for reducing risk to our personnel. Personnel with any of the symptoms of the virus must stay home until it has been confirmed they do not have any contagious virus. Our employees as well as cleaning and maintenance staff for our various offices have implemented extensive cleaning and disinfecting procedures across all of our offices.

We believe the measures we have put in place will allow us to continue to provide our clients with the highest level of service and will minimize potential exposure to our colleagues and personnel. If you have any questions about our business continuity plan or any of the other measures we have put in place in response to the COVID-19 breakout, please do not hesitate to reach out.  In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!
